LIVCMLong Island Vintage Computer Museum
Long Island Vintage Computer Museum

A home for computing history.
Coming soon.

LIVCM brings early personal computing to life through vintage machines, the people who used them, and hands-on discovery. Our collection currently focuses on Commodore, with plans to include Apple and Radio Shack.

Preserving machines—and their stories

We restore computers to working condition where practical, preserving the wear and markings that tell their history. Alongside the hardware, we document the memories, discoveries, and everyday experiences of the people who used it. Our purpose is to preserve that knowledge and pass it to the next generation.

Help bring the museum to life

There is work for more than computer experts. Help catalog the collection, write narrations, test software, prepare activities, or spread the word. We also welcome inquiries about equipment and financial support as we develop the museum.
